10/24/2008: Been quite busy with trying to get things moving. Did an animation segment as part of a challenge for Greg Sullivan, who is directing an upcoming animated short, "Pocket Change". Click on the man below to go to the forum posting and subsequent video. (It's safe for the kids)...

07/21/2007: Another addition! I have made a new animation study on my Art page. I just finished it for a monthly animation competition for the 11 Second Club. I plan to do a few of these competitions so I can work up a demo reel. The other projects are taking a backburner rest for now...

5/25/2007: Hello all. I have made a quick addition to my Art page. I just finished an 'architectural' visualization for a client. I have the quotes on architectural above since it's a tenant sign - not the prestigious MOMA. But it helped the client get closer to his needed approvals - and that is what really counts.

5/17/2007: Lions and Tigers and Bears - OH MY! Wait - that's from another concept entirely.. It has been almost a year and I am getting close to the end of preproduction on 'Xmas Future.'.
With the time I have, and learning in 15 minute intervals, I'm shooting for THIS Christmas. I am have models made, Texturing is still going on - when to draw the line between "Good enough" and "Quick and Done" is not as easy. It must be the Germanic heritage... Currently working on Test animations... Wholesome geeky fun!
Check out the -Art- page for the latest renders and animations I have for this project.

7/17/2006: Still busy. Unfortunately, since the Flyball project is way more than I can do by myself, it's been officially shelved for the time being. My thought pattern was too big for my availability. I'm trying to figure out how I can make Siggraph 2006 and not lose much time from work. Right now I'm working on a new idea I have for another short, 'Xmas Future'. It's about decorating for Christmas in the 'future', and how the future may not be that 'bright'. With my time schedule and learning Lightwave3d, I figure if I start this now - by chrismas I should have something to post. I already have the story, concept art and storyboards done. Currently working on models...

3/22/2006: It's been a while, but it's been busy too. Since I finished my first test animation, I bought a book on Lightwave animation. I've been messing around here and there and combing forums (www.spinquad.com) for answers when I realized that I have to get a better education in Lightwave - so an xmas present (Lightwave 3d book) was in order and I have a new animation from it. This one is small, but a good character animation exercise. You will find it under the Art link above. I know I said I was going to work on the lawnmower next, but that's coming...

12/1/2005: Holy Handgrenades! I finally have a new animation to show you. Click on the 'Projects' link above, go all the way to the bottom (don't forget to exercise your reading skills) and click on the UPDATED Ball Animation Link. The file is 3.5mb so those with 56k be forewarned, but it's worth the download! Now onto the Lawnmower...
